September Breakfast - Jeff Nichols, Partner | Co-Chair - Energy Practice Group, Haynes and Boone, LLP

Jeff Nichols will discuss asset-based securitizations and other structured deals which are playing a larger role in oil and gas financings. Haynes and Boone has been involved with 17 oil and gas securitizations (and counting) since 2019.

Jeff has more than 25 years of experience representing a variety of clients in the energy and finance industries with secured and unsecured credit facilities, project finance and other structured energy transactions. He has broad experience in all facets of the energy business with a focus in the merchant energy industry particularly on working with ISDA, NAESB, EEI and other industry form agreements. 

Jeff is from the firm’s Houston office and is a Member of the Practical Law Advisory Board, Project Finance Section, and teaches Energy Finance as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas Law School.
