Elizabeth DeStephens is a Managing Director in FTI’s Corporate Finance team, where she focuses on the energy and critical minerals value chains. She has more than 20 years of experience in the energy, power, and industrial sectors, with deep expertise in strategic advisory, business valuation, business transformation, transaction execution, and financial, operational, and commercial due diligence. She is a specialist in guiding organizations and boards facing complex change.

Prior to FTI, Elizabeth served as a senior executive at a private equity backed energy company. Prior to that she was an executive at a large public energy company, where she was responsible for business transformation efforts and reserves-related SEC reporting, SOX compliance, and lender redeterminations. She began her career in technical and commercial roles at large energy companies covering upstream oil and gas, natural gas midstream, LNG, and nuclear energy.

Elizabeth has degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of Houston, and University of Florida. She is a Certified Director with the National Association of Corporate Directors and a registered engineer in the state of Texas.
